Well, I have a little boy. And if you have a boy too, you already know who Lightening McQueen is (character from Cars cartoon). And your little one is probably obsessed with him. At least that's my story, my son loves him so much, he has everything with McQueen. How many red cars toys? I lost count. Finally he got something with his favorite character that is actually useful, rain boots. I was looking for rain boots for him anyways, the weather is going crazy over here, all the snow is melting away already, leaving slush and dirt everywhere.
So we were strolling in Walmart when David screamed "Mama, McQueen, Mama!" One thing is hard for me to understand; how does two year old sees everything first??? Anyways, he got his boots, put them first thing when we got home and even wanted to shower in them! And the next day the same thing... And the next day... At least now it all calmed down, but still it's the only shoes he agrees to put on when going out.
So if you have a little boy who loves Lightening McQueen and hates putting on shoes when mommy asks him, it's definetely a very good buy for you. He will be happy to be a part of the race team, and you will be happy you are not racing after your boy to put on his boots. Win win situation! Just one tip: if outside is still cold, don't forget to put very thick warm socks, those boots offer zero protection against cold.
P.S. And guess what, David's hair is styled with Ligtening McQueen hair gel! That same trip to Walmart, when mommy was choosing her hair cream, David was apperantly choosing his own. I didn't realise until I got to cash that there is one more McQueen product in my trolley. Well, even kids need style!
Have A Good Day,
